Wine Not is a wine pairing and tasting event which seeks to explore well- crated wines within our South African shores. With patrons sipping their troubles away & Jimmy Mogorosi presenting music fit enough for such a setting, patrons are always in for a treat here. Having been in existence for two years now, our portfolio of evidence in the form of visuals (Still & Motion Pictures) can be accessed on our website on the gallery section. The event takes place once a year, marketing and making the public at large aware about the next event details done for a period of three months and all platforms available.

Founder

Jimmy Mogorosi, also known as Kaone Onthatile Mogorosi, is a creative professional with a passion for wine. He combines his academic background in procurement and supply chain with his creative talents to organize well-curated events like Wine Not, a wine tasting experience he founded. Driven by a global perspective, Jimmy strives to build long-term business relationships. He is currently pursuing additional studies in wine production to become a sommelier, showcasing his dedication to the world of wine.

This food industry expert utilizes their skills in product development, recipe creation, and consumer engagement to drive sales and brand awareness. They have a deep understanding of customer needs within the food service industry. Their passion for fresh, local products and the art of food and wine pairing led them to join the Wine Not team. They bring culinary expertise and product knowledge to the table, contributing to the value proposition of Wine Not's curated experiences.

Chef Tefo Mokgoro brings a global perspective to Wine Not. His culinary journey began at Toadburry Hall and expanded through restaurants in Johannesburg, mass catering, and travels to Hong Kong, Vietnam, France, and Spain. This experience allows him to create a unique fusion of Asian, African, and French cuisine. Partnering with Napo Ramaili, Tefo introduces three new pillars to Wine Not's philosophy: organic, local, and authentic ingredients. His innovative dishes promise to tantalize taste buds with a South African twist.
